700 more officers sent to the base to ensure security and order on New Year's Eve

On the morning of February 14, Major Phan Hien - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police said that since the afternoon of February 13, the traffic police force has deployed forces to ensure security and order during the days before Tet.

Key areas in Vinh City will have additional forces, including Nghi Phu Commune, Hung Loc Commune, and Vinh Tan Ward. In particular, on New Year's Eve, hundreds of officers and soldiers will be deployed at Ho Chi Minh Square and on the roads to ensure public order and traffic safety.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Duy Ha - Captain of the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police said that for nearly a month now, at intersections, roundabouts, three-way and four-way intersections on Vinh City's roads, the Traffic Police force has deployed many officers and soldiers to participate in traffic regulation.

Vinh City Police also mobilized many officers and soldiers of the local police to join in commanding, controlling, and guiding traffic flow, avoiding traffic jams at key routes and intersections.

Regarding firecracker prevention and control on New Year's Eve, the Provincial Police are developing a plan to mobilize 100% of officers and soldiers on duty during Tet to go to the grassroots to ensure security and order and prevent firecrackers.

To prevent violations of the law, over the past month, local police forces and professional departments have called, questioned, managed, educated, and deterred hundreds of criminals, people with criminal records, and people showing signs of criminal activity, contributing to limiting the causes and conditions for committing crimes.

At the same time, working groups of the Provincial Police will be established to inspect, urge and guide the implementation of the Police of units and localities, determined to ensure good security and order, serving the people to enjoy Tet and welcome spring in peace and happiness.

Authorities have increased patrols and controls at key locations, traffic routes, train stations, wharves, bus stations, shopping malls, markets, etc. to detect and strictly handle subjects who illegally trade and transport fireworks.

The provincial police are also focusing on fiercely fighting against dangerous criminal gangs and groups that use weapons to commit crimes; preventing and strongly suppressing crimes of murder, robbery, snatching, theft, human trafficking, resisting law enforcement officers, gambling, prostitution... resolutely not allowing crimes operating in the style of "mafia", "protection" and especially serious cases to occur in the area.

In Anh Son, in recent days, the district police have established and organized many working groups to go directly to the grassroots to coordinate with local forces to organize patrols and prevent violations of the law.

In particular, to detect and prevent property theft, the reconnaissance force is divided into many working groups, coordinating with professional departments and the police of Tan Ky, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong districts... and establishing disguised and undercover teams to conduct 24/7 patrols to close the area.
