Le Nin Avenue is a major road in Vinh City that is being upgraded and renovated. However, due to the presence of many agencies, units, businesses, and large daily traffic volume, this road often experiences prolonged traffic jams.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Hung Dung Ward said: Le Nin Avenue has been constantly congested for the past time. I often have to go to work earlier, avoiding rush hour to avoid congestion, not to mention the dust and smoke during the construction process which also affects the people a lot.

In response to many complaints, the city government has also directed the Project Management Board and construction units to speed up the progress to bring the project to completion as well as have solutions to reduce congestion, including night construction.

For example, on the evenings of November 9-10, machines and workers continued to carry out construction projects such as paving the road surface and repairing weak foundation areas.

A representative of the Vinh City Project Management Board said: Le Nin Avenue is a major road with many agencies, units, and businesses, so traffic volume during rush hours is very high. Therefore, in addition to measures such as stretching ropes and placing warning signs, the unit also directed to increase construction at night, when traffic volume is low. This will help speed up the project's progress and reduce pressure on traffic congestion during the day.

Previously, at the meeting between Vinh City Party Committee and press agencies, Vinh City Party Committee leaders also frankly criticized a number of projects that were behind schedule as well as affecting traffic during construction. At the same time, they requested the authorities and construction units in the area to have solutions to improve traffic safety for the people.

It is known that the project to renovate and upgrade Lenin Avenue, the section from Vinh airport to the area around Ho Chi Minh Square, invested by Vinh City People's Committee and constructed by many units, was started in early 2024 with a total investment of over 560 billion VND.
