(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the program of meeting voters to campaign for the election, on the afternoon of May 9, candidates for the Provincial People's Council at Unit No. 9 had a meeting with voters of Thanh Linh commune (Thanh Chuong).

Participating in the meeting with voters were 7 candidates for the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2016 - 2021, including Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Huu Vinh - Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Thanh Chuong District People's Council; Tran Kim Loc - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Council; Dinh Thi Hoa - Chairwoman of Can Linh Pagoda (Vinh City); Dinh Thi Han - Deputy Head of the Organization Board of the Thanh Chuong District Party Committee; Ha Thi Xuan - Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Thanh Thinh Commune (Thanh Chuong); Nguyen Thi Dinh - Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Thanh Hoa Commune (Thanh Chuong).

Also participating in the meeting and election campaign were candidates for Thanh Chuong District People's Council delegates.

At the meeting with voters, through action programs if elected as People's Council delegates at all levels, candidates for provincial and district People's Council delegates presented specific and practical tasks; paying special attention to issues close to people's lives.

In his action program, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa, in his assigned position, will focus on attracting many factories and businesses to invest in rural areas.

This is the solution, the condition for people to have more jobs right in their hometown so that in the houses of rural families, there is no scene of young couples working far away having to leave their young children with their elderly parents to take care of, causing the young children to lack parental love and the elderly to not be cared for by their children.

The majority of voters expressed their confidence in the candidates’ abilities, intelligence, and courage to think and act. Voters also frankly expressed their thoughts, feelings, and messages to the candidates.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Soi, a voter from Dong village, suggested that candidates should research, study, and be creative during their process of becoming representatives to ensure that they can both fulfill their assigned political tasks and have time to be close to the people, to fully absorb and reflect the thoughts and aspirations of voters to the authorities.

Voter Tran Van Chau, Thuy village, said that candidates need to properly implement the action program promised to voters; truly worthy of being representatives of the people, representing the will and aspirations of the people.
