Strengthening the combative and educational nature of Party newspapers

On the morning of December 6, the Nghe An Newspaper Party Committee held a conference to review the Party building work in 2019 and deploy plans and tasks for 2020. Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief chaired the conference. The Nghe An Newspaper Party Committee currently has 5 Party cells and 50 Party members. During the year, the Party Committee has proposed many solutions to lead and direct the professional implementation of key tasks, such as: Focusing on deeply propagating political, economic and social events taking place in the province, creating social stability, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province; developing a plan to streamline, arrange and organize the apparatus in the spirit of Resolution 6 of the Central Committee (term XII); continuing to perfect the model of "Convergence Editorial Office"; directing the development and promulgation of the "Publishing Code of Conduct" which has been put into operation, standardizing the publishing process, clearly defining the responsibilities of each individual and related department; Directing the development and putting into operation the Project to Identify and Develop the Nghe An Newspaper Brand for the period 2019 - 2022, which has contributed to spreading the image and brand of Nghe An Newspaper to a large number of readers; Promoting propaganda, advertising and distribution; Training and using a team of collaborators; handling complaints and denunciations... Establishing groups to develop Fanpage and YouTube pages; building in-depth topics to effectively carry out propaganda work and participate in journalism awards.

The Party Committee has seriously and timely summarized the directives, resolutions and projects of the higher levels. During the year, the Party Committee has stepped up the implementation of solutions to promote the exemplary vanguard role, well perform the assigned duties and tasks of Party members; require cadres and reporters when working with the grassroots not to cause disturbances; take advantage of the profession of reporters to intimidate, gain personal benefits, affecting the personality of Party journalists. Through evaluation and classification, 2 Party members have been honored as exemplary in completing their tasks; 8 Party members have completed their tasks excellently; 39 Party members have completed their tasks well and 3 Party members have completed their tasks.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Public Security Bloc Hoang Van Nhien praised the achievements of the Nghe An Newspaper Party Committee in the past time, and at the same time requested the Party Committee to continue to promote its exemplary and pioneering role, striving towards the position of a local Party newspaper, with high fighting spirit and education. In addition, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Public Security Bloc also hope that Nghe An Newspaper will continue to pay attention to discovering and propagating models and typical examples to replicate, spread, promptly grasp and propagate new points in Party work in 2020.

Concluding the conference, the Party Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper requested that each Party member continue to make efforts and strive to be worthy of being a Party member and reporter of the Party newspaper in the homeland. The Party Committee needs to build a united bloc within the agency, improve the quality and efficiency of the operations of specialized departments and offices, and meet the expectations and wishes of the Party Committee, government and people of the whole province.

Affirming the role and brand of Party newspapers in the 4.0 era

(Baonghean) - To adapt to the times, press agencies in general and Nghe An Newspaper in particular must constantly innovate, improve quality and brand value, to both fulfill their information and propaganda tasks and generate revenue to ensure the newspaper's operations and successfully implement the roadmap to autonomy.
