Fishing boat sank, 1 crew member died near Mat island

According to information from the ship owner, at 2:00 a.m. on January 25, fishing boat NA 90800TS, operated by Mr. Nguyen Van Trieu (born in 1974), residing in Tan Dong block, Quynh Di ward, Hoang Mai town, was operating in an area near...Eye IslandIn bad weather conditions, thick fog was sunk by a transport ship.
At 5:30 a.m. the same day, all 8 crew members on board were rescued by fishing boat NA 94789TS owned by Mr. Pham Huu Hai, Quynh Nghia commune, Quynh Luu district.

After being brought aboard, crew member Nguyen Van Van (born in 1964) died in poor health due to exhaustion and cold. After contacting the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard, Mr. Hai's ship handed over all crew members to Squadron 2 to take the distressed crew members to Lach Con wharf, Quynh Phuong ward, Hoang Mai town.
It is known that fishing boat NA 90800TS departed from Lach Con fishing port at 11:00 on January 23 and had an accident after 2 days at sea.
