Thanh Chuong: 129 new party members admitted in 3 months

Thanh Chuong Party Committee has 82 grassroots party organizations, including 40 commune and town party committees, 18 party committees of affiliated agencies and 24 grassroots party cells. In recent times, the work of developing new party members in Thanh Chuong has encountered many difficulties, with some party cells having not been able to recruit new party members for many years.

Therefore, the Party development work is identified by Thanh Chuong District Party Committee as an important task. Many resolutions, projects, and documents related to the development work have been issued by the District Party Committee, in which the focus is Resolution No. 13/NQ-HU dated June 28, 2012 on "Improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots party organizations, period 2012 - 2015 and the following years".

Along with that, the District Party Committee has established a grassroots steering group, which includes directing the development of party members in each assigned area. The Standing members, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, and the District Party Executive Committee are assigned to be in charge of regions and points.

With such drastic direction, the Party development work in Thanh Chuong has improved since the beginning of the year, the entire Party Committee has admitted 129 new Party members, an increase of 31 Party members over the same period.

In particular, in the two resettlement communes of Thanh Son and Ngoc Lam, after several years of stagnation, 12 party members from ethnic minorities were admitted. Thanh Chuong 3 High School admitted 15 party members from grade 12, earlier than every year, during the summer. This is a motivation for young party members to strive in their studies to achieve high results in the upcoming exams.

Comrade Dinh Thi Han - Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Thanh Chuong District Party Committee said: According to the plan, each year the whole district strives to admit 250-300 new party members. The fact that 129 were admitted in the first 3 months of the year is a great result. That is the effectiveness of the innovation of methods, approaches and drastic solutions from the District Party Committee to each grassroots Party Committee and each Party cell, creating trust for Party Committees and Party cells, contributing to increasing the youth of the Party, bringing the Party's Resolutions into life quickly and sustainably.
