Nghe An Youth Receives Certificate of Merit from Prime Minister at Ceremony to Honor 10 Young Faces of Vietnam
(Baonghean.vn) - Captain Ngo Anh Tuan - Deputy Head of Nghia Dan District Police was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister and a commemorative medal at the Ceremony to honor 10 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces of 2019 held on the morning of March 25 at the Central Youth Union headquarters.
The 10 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces Award is one of the activities of the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund, with the Prime Minister as Honorary Chairman and the First Secretary of the Central Youth Union as Chairman of the Executive Board.
The award aims to honor typical young people with outstanding achievements, creating a widespread influence in the community about their efforts and striving to excel in all fields of work.

In 2019, the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund received 137 valid applications from 39 units. From the above 137 nominations, the Awarding Council selected 10 outstanding faces from the whole country representing 10 fields: Study; Scientific research - Creativity; Labor production; Business - start-up; National defense; Security and order; Sports; Culture and arts; Social activities; State administrative management.
Among them, Captain Ngo Anh Tuan (born in 1987) - Deputy Head of Nghia Dan District Police was honored to be voted as a typical representative of the country's youth in the field of Security and Order.

This award is an important milestone that adds to the list of achievements of Captain Ngo Anh Tuan when for 7 consecutive years (2013 - 2019) he achieved the title of "Basic Emulation Fighter" and was also an exemplary party member for 5 consecutive years.
As Deputy Chief of District Police, he directed the investigation and clarified nearly 35 cases, 62 cases of violations of economic and environmental management order. In 2019, he directly directed and successfully fought 3 major drug cases, seizing 4kg of crystal meth, 18 heroin cakes, 250 synthetic drug pills...
In 2017, Captain Tuan was awarded the Third Class Military Exploit Medal by the President and achieved the title of “Emulation Soldier of the entire Public Security Force”. In 2018, he was one of 10 outstanding young police officers and was recognized as “Young Party member studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings”.

Receiving the noble Award from the Central Youth Union and the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, Captain Ngo Anh Tuan considers this a motivation for himself as well as the young generation of Vietnam to strive to compete in studying, working and fighting to bring the youth, enthusiasm and dedication of young people to contribute to the community and society.
In addition to the 10 outstanding young faces being honored, the next 10 individuals on the nomination list with the highest votes from the Award Council were also awarded the Promising Young Vietnamese Faces award. Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Sy Dung (Commander of Company 2, Battalion 1, Regiment 1, Division 324, Military Region 4) is also another representative from Nghe An who was honored and rewarded by the Organizing Committee this morning in the field of National Defense.
