Vinh City met with more than 300 education officials and managers on November 20

On the morning of November 16, Vinh City People's Committee held a meeting with education management officials. This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 38th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.

The ceremony was attended by 363 teachers who are management staff at all levels in Vinh City. Organizing the meeting of the People's CommitteeVinh cityIt is an important event for educational administrators of all schools in the city to meet, exchange and share their thoughts, aspirations and wishes about education. This is also an opportunity for Vinh city leaders to honor and show their care for teachers on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.

In recent years, with the efforts of the staff, teachers and schools, the city's education and training has initially transformed to meet the requirements of comprehensive fundamental innovation in education and training.

Up to now, the city has many schools that are well-invested and equipped with modern teaching equipment. The teaching staff has been supplemented, gradually meeting the requirements of innovation. The number of teachers achieving excellent teaching at all levels and the number of provincial-level initiatives and experiences are increasing.

The city has taken the lead in implementing a number of advanced models such as Stem education and enhanced English programs, Poki Life Skills, etc. to help students have the opportunity to develop their abilities and skills to integrate with the development of the times.

In 2020, the city wasUNESCOrecognized as a member of the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Ngoc Tu - Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee affirmed: The results achieved are thanks to the solidarity, determination and efforts of teachers in the whole industry, including the great contributions of teachers and managers with a high sense of responsibility, concern and creativity in leadership and direction.

In the coming time, the Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee also requested that the entire city's education sector continue to be concerned, especially in the context that the city is a central area with many unique characteristics with the stature of a class 1 urban city.

To do so, the city must reach out and compare with other cities of the same type. In addition, in the current context, there must be innovation in line with the development trend but without breaking the structure of the subjects and creating momentum for tomorrow.

In the process of development, teachers must also be ready to face challenges and changes and have solutions to overcome inherent problems of the industry such as student rotation, selection, staff arrangement, etc.

On the part of school managers, it is necessary to enhance responsibility in management, so that students go to school not only to learn to read and write, learn to be human, but also to be a place for students to practice physical strength, intelligence, and know how to creatively apply the knowledge they have learned into practice.
