The investment policy for the construction of the project to upgrade and renovate Cao Thang Street, to put the night street on this route into operation, was approved by Vinh City People's Committee in Decision No. 1778/QD-UBND.

The upgrading of Cao Thang Street aims to complete the technical infrastructure system in accordance with the development plan of Vinh city, bringing about cultural and architectural efficiency and creating favorable conditions for tourists and residents to visit, have fun, shop, do business...

Investment items include: Replacing curbs, weaving cement grooves with stone; replacing sidewalk blocks with stone; replacing lighting systems; repairing manhole covers and water collection panels; repairing connection points between alleys and Cao Thang Street; demolishing and renovating flower beds and flower beds at intersections; planting trees on both sides of the road.

In particular, the city will install a modern decorative lighting system, create an outdoor stage with an area of ​​about 100 square meters, and on both sides of Cao Thang Street, trash cans and seats will be added to serve tourists.

The total investment of the project is more than 7.4 billion VND, of which construction cost is 6.2 billion VND and other costs. The investment capital is taken from Vinh city budget.

Investing in and upgrading the infrastructure of Cao Thang Street is very important for the city to prepare to open a night street on this street. Currently, we are speeding up the construction progress to complete the infrastructure to open the night street in the near future.
