Vinh City will hold an investment attraction conference in early September 2019.

Chairing the meeting on the morning of August 9, 2019 were comrade Le Ngoc Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of departments, and the Center for Investment Support and Promotion of Nghe An province.

The conference "Mobilizing resources to develop Vinh city into the center of the North Central region" is expected to have 400 delegates, with the participation of central leaders, ministries, branches, and investors, held on September 8, 2019 in Vinh city.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Ngoc Tu, Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee reported that the tasks assigned by the province to the city have been basically reviewed and prepared, especially the projects that need to be attracted and the locations that need to be attracted. The city will continue to assign specific tasks and proactively connect with the provincial People's Committee and other sectors.

The leaders of the Department of Information and Communications also said that they will hold a press conference about the conference to spread the message of this meaningful event. The Department of Industry and Trade also prepared booths to display Nghe An's special products at the conference.

Vinh City is a class I urban area under Nghe An province, the political, economic and cultural center of the province. The adjustment of the General Planning for Vinh City Construction to 2030, with a vision to 2050, was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 52/QD-TTg dated January 14, 2015; with an urban area of ​​about 250km², including the entire Vinh city, the entire Cua Lo town, the entire Quan Hanh town and several other communes in Nghi Loc district, Hung Nguyen district, aiming to strongly develop industry, services, trade, especially tourism.
