Vinh City organizes the Emulation Congress for Victory of the Armed Forces for the period 2019 - 2024

On the morning of May 10, Vinh city organized the Emulation Congress for Victory of the Armed Forces for the period 2019 - 2024.
Attending the congress were comrades: Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee; Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces;
Representatives of the Provincial Military Command; Vinh city; wards and communes of Vinh city and 32 typical advanced collectives and individuals in the emulation movement "Determination to Win" of the city's armed forces.
Over the past 5 years, the Emulation movement to win of the Vinh City Armed Forces has developed widely and steadily. The emulation movement has closely followed the political tasks, associated with promoting "Studying and following the example of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle". The emulation movement has made an important contribution to building cadres and soldiers of the city's armed forces with steadfast political will, ready to receive and complete all tasks well.
Through the movement, the Vinh City armed forces have performed well the function of advising Party committees and authorities at all levels on local defense and military tasks; promoting the core role in building a national defense posture associated with a solid people's security posture. At the same time, the armed forces have always taken the lead in coordinating the implementation of tasks to ensure social security, prevent natural disasters and epidemics.
From the emulation movement, many typical and advanced collectives and individuals have emerged, contributing to beautifying the tradition and qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era, building a comprehensively strong City Armed Forces, "Exemplary and typical"... With the outstanding achievements and feats in the past 5 years, Vinh City Armed Forces were honored to receive the Excellent Emulation Flag from the Military Region 4 Command and the Provincial People's Committee along with many Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit in performing tasks.
Building on the achieved results, in the coming period, Vinh city's armed forces are determined to uphold patriotism, promote revolutionary heroism and revolutionary offensive spirit, overcome difficulties and challenges, bring the Emulation Movement to Victory to a new height, with practical effectiveness and depth, becoming a widespread voluntary revolutionary action movement.
Speaking at the Congress, Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command praised the efforts of Vinh City's armed forces in implementing the emulation movement "Determination to Win" for the period 2019 - 2024; at the same time, expressed his belief that Vinh City's armed forces will continue to unleash creative potential, contributing with the Party Committee and People of the city to build Vinh City into an economic and cultural center of the North Central region in the spirit of Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo.
Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong emphasized: Vinh city armed forces continue to thoroughly grasp President Ho Chi Minh's call for "Patriotic emulation" "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation" and effectively implement directives, documents and instructions from superiors on emulation and reward work. Regularly innovate the content and form of emulation, directing emulation towards the quality implementation of key tasks.

At the congress, Vinh city commended and honored 32 typical, advanced and exemplary collectives and individuals who have made important contributions to building the City Military Party Committee to excellently complete its tasks, building a comprehensively strong city force "exemplary and exemplary" in the 2019-2024 period./.
