Vinh City posthumously awarded titles to 9 heroic Vietnamese mothers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 25, at the Vinh City Convention Center, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh City held a ceremony to posthumously award titles to 9 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

Attending the ceremony were leaders of Vinh City, representatives of the Provincial Military Command and a number of related departments.

In this list, most of the mothers have two sons or both husband and son are martyrs. Only one case has only one son sacrificed.

Because all 9 mothers have passed away, representatives of the families received flowers and the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother.

Speaking at the ceremony, representatives of the mothers' relatives expressed their emotion because the mothers' sacrifices and losses were recognized by the Party and State.
