(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh City is currently the locality with the most non-public kindergartens in the whole province. Among these, there are schools that are called international schools even though they have not been recognized.

The People's Committee of Vinh City has just sent a report to the Department of Education and Training on the results of rectifying the implementation of regulations on permitting the establishment and operation of non-public preschools. Accordingly, there are currently a number of schools in the area named "international" schools, "bilingual" schools, but in reality the naming of the schools is not in accordance with regulations. These are Anh Duong International Kindergarten, Viet - Sing International Kindergarten, Happy Kids Bilingual Kindergarten...

Faced with this reality, the City People's Committee has issued an official dispatch directing and guiding schools to submit a request to the city for permission to change the school's name in accordance with the regulations of the kindergarten charter. At the same time, it requires schools to hang new signs in accordance with regulations and remove the phrases "international" and "bilingual".

Previously, according to Mr. Tran The Son - Head of the Preschool Education Department (Department of Education and Training): Through the synthesis of the whole province, there are 5/55 non-public preschools that are licensed and named themselves in violation of the regulations of the Preschool Charter, of which Vinh city has 4 schools and Cua Lo town has 1 school.

The representative of the Department of Education and Training also said: According to regulations, naming a kindergarten must comply with the following factors: Kindergarten, the school's own name. In addition, schools must not include the type of school (public or private); and must not include foreign elements (international, bilingual) in the school name.

Regarding this issue, the Department of Education and Training has also issued a document requesting the education and training departments of districts, towns and cities to review the implementation of regulations on permission to establish and operate non-public preschools. At the same time, it requires preschools (including schools that arbitrarily add elements not included in the decision to allow establishment) to remove the old name from the school nameplate, transaction documents and school seal and record a new name consistent with the decision to allow establishment of the school.

At the same time, inspect and rectify violations of organizations and individuals in organizing preschool education activities that have not been approved by competent authorities for establishment or educational activities.
