10 more Covid-19 patients announced to be cured, Vietnam cures 85 cases
Information from the Treatment Subcommittee - National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said that today (April 3, 2020), 10 more Covid-19 patients nationwide were announced to be cured.
Of these, 07 patients were treated at Binh Thuan Provincial General Hospital and 03 patients at Can Gio Covid-19 Treatment Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City.
Specifically as follows:
- At Binh Thuan General Hospital, 07 patients were announced to be cured, including a 2-year-old child..
1. Patient 34:Female patient, 51 years old, Vietnamese nationality.
- Date of admission: March 9, 2020
- During treatment at the hospital, the patient was tested and had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 once on March 27, 2020; twice on March 30, 2020 and three times on April 1, 2020.
2. Patient 37:Female patient, 37 years old, Vietnamese nationality.
- Date of admission: March 11, 2020
- During treatment at the hospital, the patient was tested and had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 once on March 27, 2020; twice on March 30, 2020 and thirdly negative on April 1, 2020.
3. Patient 38:Female patient, 27 years old, Vietnamese nationality.
- Date of admission: March 10, 2020
- During treatment at the hospital, the patient was tested and had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 once on March 27, 2020; twice on March 30, 2020 and thirdly negative on April 1, 2020.
4. Patient 40:Female patient, 2 years old, Vietnamese nationality.
- Date of admission: March 10, 2020
- During treatment at the hospital, the patient was tested and had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 once on March 27, 2020; twice on March 30, 2020 and thirdly negative on April 1, 2020.
5. Patient 41:Male patient, 56 years old, Vietnamese nationality.
- Date of admission: March 11, 2020
- During treatment at the hospital, the patient was tested and had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 once on March 27, 2020; twice on March 30, 2020 and thirdly negative on April 1, 2020.

6. Patient 42:Male patient, 27 years old, Vietnamese nationality.
- Date of admission: March 11, 2020
- During treatment at the hospital, the patient was tested and had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 once on March 27, 2020; twice on March 30, 2020 and thirdly negative on April 1, 2020.
7. Patient 43:Female patient, 48 years old, Vietnamese nationality.
- Date of admission: March 11, 2020
- During treatment at the hospital, the patient was tested and had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 once on March 27, 2020; twice on March 30, 2020 and three times on April 1, 2020.
Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Director of Binh Thuan General Hospital said: The hospital has made every effort in the treatment process for patients, strictly applying the treatment regimen of the Ministry of Health. Currently, the patients have no fever, no cough, stable condition, and are eligible to be declared cured. However, patient 37 also has a child with Covid-19 but has not been cured, so he asked to stay with his child until he recovers. These cases will continue to be isolated and monitored at medical facilities for the next 14 days.
- At Can Gio Covid-19 treatment hospital, 03 patients were announced to be cured:
1. Patient 99:Male patient, 29 years old, Vietnamese nationality.
- Admitted to hospital on March 21, 2020
- During treatment at the hospital, the patient was tested and had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 once on March 27; twice on April 1, 2020 and thirdly negative on April 2, 2020.
2. Patient 100:Male patient, 55 years old, Vietnamese nationality.
- Hospitalized on March 21, 2020
- During treatment at the hospital, the patient was tested and had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 once on March 30, 2020; twice on March 31, 2020 and thirdly negative on April 1, 2020.
3. Patient 121:Male patient, 58 years old, Vietnamese nationality
- Date of admission: March 20, 2020
- During treatment at the hospital, the patient was tested and had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 once on March 30, 2020; twice on April 1, 2020 and thirdly negative on April 2, 2020.
The above cases will continue to be isolated and monitored for their health for the next 14 days.
Thus, up to this point in Vietnam, 85 Covid-19 patients have been announced to be cured.
