34 more cases of infection in Hai Duong, Quang Ninh and 2 suspected cases in Gia Lai
On the morning of January 30, the Ministry of Health recorded 34 cases of nCoV positive, community transmission in two outbreak areas of Hai Duong and Quang Ninh.
Quang Ninh province recorded "patient 1658" in Ha Long city related to the infected case in Hai Duong province; and "patient 1659" in Van Don district, in contact with "patient 1553". Thus, Quang Ninh recorded a total of 20 infected cases, from January 28 to now.
Hai Duong province recorded 32 cases related to the outbreak in Chi Linh city. Thus, from January 28 to now, Hai Duong has recorded a total of 157 infections.

In total, from January 28 to 30, the Ministry of Health recorded 180 cases of community infection. The two major outbreaks were Poyun Company in Chi Linh City, Hai Duong and Van Don Airport, Quang Ninh.
The Ministry of Health recommends that people who worked at Poyun Company, Cong Hoa Industrial Park, Chi Linh City, Hai Duong in January 2021; people who have taken flights at Van Don International Airport, Quang Ninh from January 15 to present; urgently contact the nearest medical facility or call the Ministry of Health hotline 1900.9095, the local medical hotline number for support, advice, and Covid-19 testing.Meanwhile, in Gia Lai, a couple tested positive for nCoV for the first time, after having close contact with "patient 1612" in Hai Duong. "We are tracing and isolating people and areas related to these two suspected cases," said Mr. Dinh Ha Nam, Deputy Director of the Gia Lai Department of Health, on the morning of January 30.

On January 17, a couple from Cheo Reo ward, Ayun Pa town (Gia Lai) went to Hai Duong province and shared a wedding car with "patient 1612" to Ba Vi district (Hanoi) and returned in the same car.
On the morning of January 21, the couple got off the bus at Chu Se intersection, took a bus to Krong Pa to return to Ayun Pa town. After that, the wife went to work as usual at La Pa District Medical Center, while the husband attended a wedding in Ia Ma Ron commune, Ia Pa district.
Their family has 6 people, including husband's parents and 2 children studying at Le Van Tam Primary and Secondary School, Ayun Pa town.
Currently, they have no symptoms of cough, fever, sore throat and are being quarantined at Ayun Pa Town Medical Center.
Authorities have quarantined the Ia Pa District Medical Center since 0:30 on January 30. Le Van Tam Primary and Secondary School (Ayun Pa town) has been closed for classes and extracurricular activities on January 30 and 31. The Department of Health has directed medical facilities in the area to support medical examination and treatment for people in Ia Pa district.
