4 more cases of nCoV infection, including 2 people in contact with patient 1347 - English teacher
The Ministry of Health on the afternoon of December 1 recorded four positive cases of nCoV, of which two cases were infected by "patient 1347" in Ho Chi Minh City and two cases were quarantined immediately after entering the country.
"Patient 1348",Male, 1 year old, address in District 6, Ho Chi Minh City. The patient had contact with "patient 1347" for three days. Test result on November 30, positive for nCoV. The patient is currently being treated at the City Children's Hospital.
"Patient 1349",Female, 28 years old, address in District 6, Ho Chi Minh City. She has a history of contact with "patient 1347". Sample taken on November 30, test result on December 1 was positive for nCoV. The patient is currently being treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.

"Patient 1350",Male, 47 years old, in Binh Thanh district, Ho Chi Minh City."Patient 1351",male, 57 years old, living in Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province. On November 16, these two people entered Van Don airport from Canada and were quarantined in Hai Duong province immediately after entering the country. The first test result on November 17 was negative, the second sample was taken on November 30, and the test results at the Hai Duong Provincial Center for Disease Control and the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology were both positive for nCoV. Currently, the two patients are being treated at the Hai Duong Provincial Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
Today, 16 patients were announced to be cured. Thus, the total number of infections is 1,351, the number of recoveries is 1,195. The number of deaths due to Covid-19 is 35, four people died after three to four negative tests.
The remaining patients are mostly in stable health, of which 5 people tested negative for nCoV once, 4 people tested negative twice, and 10 people tested negative three times.
The total number of people in close contact and entering from epidemic areas being quarantined is more than 16,000. Of these, nearly 200 are quarantined at hospitals; more than 15,000 are quarantined in centralized facilities, the rest are at home or at their place of residence.
Vietnam has reported two cases of community transmission after 89 days. The risk of an outbreak is always present, especially when the number of flights bringing Vietnamese citizens and experts back home increases. The Ministry of Health recommends that people continue to follow the "5K Message" well, especially wearing masks and washing hands with soap and disinfectants.
The world has recorded more than 1.4 million deaths from nCoV out of more than 63 million infected people. The US is the country most seriously affected by the epidemic, followed by India and Brazil.
