5 more Covid-19 patients, 4 cases related to Bach Mai Hospital
Of the new cases, four are related to Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi), while the remaining case was quarantined immediately upon entry. The number of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 in Vietnam is 179.
As of 6:00 a.m. on March 29, Vietnam recorded 5 new cases, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases in Vietnam to 179. 4 of these cases are related to Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi); the remaining case was quarantined immediately after entering the country.
BN175:Male patient, 57 years old, works at Truong Sinh Company providing services to Bach Mai Hospital, in contact with many people.
BN176:Female patient, 38 years old, works at Truong Sinh Company providing services to Bach Mai Hospital, in contact with many people.
BN177:Female patient, 49 years old, works at Truong Sinh Company providing services to Bach Mai Hospital, in contact with many people.
BN178:The female patient, 44 years old, works at Truong Sinh Company providing services to Bach Mai Hospital, is in Thai Nguyen and tested positive. The patient is currently isolated and treated in Dai Tu, Thai Nguyen.
BN179:62 years old, living in Ha Dong district, Hanoi. The patient returned from abroad on flight EK394, entering the country on March 18. After entering the country, the patient was taken to the centralized quarantine area of Thanh Hoa province. Here, the patient was tested and was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 by the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology. Currently, the patient and those in close contact are isolated in the quarantine area, and their health condition is stable.

The Ministry of Health recommends that all patients, their relatives and those who have visited Bach Mai Hospital between March 12 and 27 take the following measures:
- Send a message with your full name and address to phone number 8889.
- Contact your local Center for Disease Control for advice.
- Make a medical declaration on the NCOVI application (ncovi.vn), or declare online at tokhaiyte.vn, regularly update your health status to receive advice and assistance.
According to information from the Ministry of Health, the total number of suspected cases eliminated is 11,528. The total number of suspected cases being monitored and quarantined is 3,215. The total number of close contacts and people entering from epidemic areas being monitored for health and quarantined is 75,085 (of which 38,372 are quarantined at home or place of residence). The total number of negative test samples is 35,634.
