(Baonghean.vn) - Through surveying the area and finding flower areas with suitable areas to move bee colonies to welcome the blooming season, Mr. Bui Ngoc Quoc's family in Quynh Hoa commune, Quynh Luu district earns an income of 200 - 250 million VND per year.

Mr. Bui Ngoc Quoc shared: Beekeeping is a highly profitable profession, but the process can be called both easy and difficult. It is easy because it does not require large investment capital, care, or food costs. However, it requires the beekeeper to understand and grasp the characteristics of each region with natural flowers to help bees migrate seasonally. Photo: Hong Dien |

From January to the end of the eighth lunar month, Mr. Quoc's family often takes 50 beehives on a nomadic journey to collect honey from longan, lychee, eucalyptus, sesame, and acacia flowers. After that, they rest for two months and in November and December, they move the bees to locations with crabapple and white flowers in the district so that the bees can diligently collect sweet nectar. Each type of flower has a different characteristic flavor, so customers can choose the type of honey that suits their preferences. Photo: Hong Dien |

Every 12-15 days, each hive produces honey once, reaching a weight of nearly 30 liters. Eucalyptus honey is sold for 300,000 VND/liter, thus bringing the family a profit of nearly 9 million VND. Photo: Hong Dien |
