Civil service exam in Ha Tinh province, competition ratio is nearly 1/100
According to the leaders of Ha Tinh province, this year's civil service exam was organized with the most open, transparent, and fair requirements ever. Even the provincial chairman wanted to help but couldn't.
Mr. Dang Quoc Vinh - Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee shared that there are thousands of applications submitted but very few job positions. If unqualified people get in, it is a mistake.
“We will be public about the number, job positions, application standards… We will draw lots for the exam, ensuring the most public, transparent and fair exam ever,” said Mr. Vinh.
Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, said that with innovations in the recruitment method, this year's civil servant recruitment exam will ensure the most fairness and objectivity.

“All candidates have equal opportunities. Whoever is more capable and qualified will win. The province is committed to transparency in all stages to ensure fairness.
The test will include content related to the job you are applying for, those who do well in this part will have an advantage. As for the interview part, a recording device will be required to prevent candidates from complaining about the results of the test,” said Mr. Khanh.
According to the Chairman of Ha Tinh, this year's exam, in addition to drawing lots for the exam, invigilators, and examiners, the province will consider hiring an independent unit to supervise the exam, avoiding the case of asking someone to send it.
More notably, unlike every year, the civil service exams are chaired by a Vice Chairman of the province, this year Mr. Khanh will take on this position.
"With the regulations of this year's exam, even if I were the chairman of the exam council, it would be impossible to help anyone," Mr. Khanh affirmed.
Mr. Tran Huy Lieu, Deputy Director of the Ha Tinh Department of Home Affairs, said: This year, there are a total of 76 civil servant positions in the province. But up to this point, there have been 740 applications submitted. The number of applications is expected to increase in the next few days.
On July 15, the application will be closed, and from July 18 to 23, the application will be submitted to the department.
According to Mr. Lieu, the lists will be issued at the end of August and the examination board will be established. The examination will also be held at the end of August.
For this year's civil service exam, there is no distinction between subjects, ages, or formal or non-public degrees. All subjects who meet the exam criteria will receive applications.
To ensure fairness and transparency for the exam. The examination board will post documents for candidates to access review information, and will set questions within this scope. The list of those who are eligible to take the exam will also be made public in the press.
