Cua Lo town conducts large-scale testing for the second time in a ward with 30 infected cases

On the evening of August 28, leaders of the Department of Health, the Provincial Center for Disease Control (CDC Nghe An) and leaders of Cua Lo town directly directed the second sampling of 10,000 people in Nghi Thuy ward. This is the ward with the highest number of Covid-19 infections in the town with 30 F0 cases.

Nghi Thuy Ward currently has 6 blocks divided into 12 points with 40 sample collection tables. 120 officers, nurses and doctors from Nghe An Lung Hospital and Cua Lo Medical Center participated in sample collection.

In addition to the medical force, there are also police, soldiers, union members, youth in the town and the government. Local organizations also coordinate to guide people to maintain order, comply with epidemic prevention and control regulations such as sitting apart, wearing masks properly, disinfecting, measuring body temperature, making medical declarations... before taking samples.

In the previous testing round, Nghi Thuy residents had to pay a fee, but this second round of testing is free PCR testing. The leader of Cua Lo town said that the town's determination is to complete the collection of 10,000 samples overnight and then transfer them to Nghe An CDC for PCR testing. Screening testing is an important factor in separating F0 from the community. Based on the test results, the town's Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee will have more effective instructions and solutions in preventing and repelling the spread of the disease./.
