Hoang Mai Town elects additional members of the Town People's Committee for the 2016 - 2021 term

At this session, the Town People's Council will review and approve 10 reports on socio-economic, national defense and security, and reports on the activities of the Standing Committee, the Town People's Council Committees, the management work of the Town People's Committee in the first 6 months of the year, tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2019; review and approve 4 submissions and 5 draft resolutions under its authority.

In the first 6 months of 2019, the total production value is estimated at 7,831 billion VND, up 10% over the same period, equal to 49.84% of the plan. The economic growth rate is estimated at 16.9%. Budget revenue reached 104,031 million VND, equal to 47.27% of the province's estimate, 38.52% of the estimate assigned by the Town People's Council, up 7.37% over the same period. The fields of culture, education, administrative reform, employment and social issues are of interest; national defense and security are ensured.

The meeting also spent time discussing in groups, questioning and answering questions in the hall about the socio-economic situation, national defense and security in the first 6 months of the year, tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2019; reports, draft resolutions submitted to the meeting; activities of the Town People's Council and direction and administration of the Town People's Committee as well as issues arising from practice.

Also at the meeting, delegates voted to dismiss Mr. Ho Xuan Tu - Former Commander of the Town Military Command, from his position as a member of the Town People's Committee, who retired according to the regime. At the same time, they elected Mr. Le Xuan Quynh - Commander of the Town Military Command to be a member of the Town People's Committee./.
