This budget hotel combined with a small library is located on the 7th floor of a high-rise building in the Ikebukuro area of ​​Tokyo and is just a minute's walk from Ikebukuro Station.

The hotel looks like a modern bookstore, with bookshelves stretching to the back of the room and sofas with large, soft pillows. However, behind those bookshelves are about 30 small, cozy rooms that can be reached by climbing a wooden ladder.

The hotel offers 2 types of rooms with dimensions of 205x85cm for Compact rooms and 205x129cm for Standard rooms. In addition, visitors can choose one of 18 bunk beds with typical sizes and spaces like cheap capsule hotels in Japan.

The hotel space is not large but quiet, cozy with yellow light as the main theme. You can enjoy reading books, sipping tea and coffee and watching a part of the city from above.

The hotel's bookshelf has about 1,700 books, selected by Shibuya Publishing and Book Distribution. The books here are quite diverse, from English publications for foreign visitors to Japanese books.

The owner of the "Book and Bed" hotel, R-store, a real estate company, hopes to increase the size of the library to 3,000 books. The books here are only for visitors to read, not for sale.

For non-overnight guests, the price for a session from 1pm to 6pm ranges from 160,000 to 200,000 VND. However, the number of seats for daytime guests is limited and you should book in advance. The price is around 400,000 to 600,000 VND for visitors staying the whole night here.
