Lack of land for construction projects in Yen Thanh

A representative of the Yen Thanh District Project Management Board said: We have urged the construction unit to speed up the progress, but the land for leveling is very scarce and difficult to buy in large quantities, because we need hundreds of thousands of square meters.3land, the construction unit does not know what to do. While this road is very important, preventing flooding for 5 communes that are often flooded during the rainy season.
The unfinished construction has directly affected the socio-economic development of the locality. People are looking forward to the early opening of this road to stabilize their lives.

Currently, Yen Thanh district still has other key traffic routes under construction, such as 8 inner-city roads, 6 of which are under construction due to lack of land.
The town road to Duc Thanh commune started construction in early 2019 and was scheduled to be completed by the end of 2020, but due to lack of land for embankment, construction is currently at a standstill. The district has encouraged and encouraged businesses to apply for land exploitation licenses, however, the process of applying for a land mine license is also complicated and difficult. In order to have land for construction projects, the district is implementing procedures to submit to the province to request permission to renovate and level the ground in Lo Nho area of Xuan Thanh commune to serve the spiritual work of Gam pagoda, and to have land to serve construction needs.
In reality, the demand for land as construction materials, land leveling for projects and people's needs is very high. That is why in some localities, there has been a situation of illegal land exploitation on a small scale (mainly households dig land to level their gardens, and the surplus is transported to sell).The district People's Committee regularly sets up inspection teams to handle cases. Since the beginning of 2019, Yen Thanh district has fined over 70 million VND to illegal land exploiters. However, the management of illegal land exploitation has not been thoroughly implemented. Because when the inspection team withdraws, the subjects secretly exploit illegally.

The locality and businesses hope that when businesses come to invest and apply for a land mine license, the authorities need to create conditions to remove difficulties, and there needs to be flexible and appropriate policies so that the district can soon have a land mine license to meet the demand for land use for leveling projects.
