In the final match of the Youth - Children's Football Tournament Nghe An Newspaper Cup 2019, TN Tan Ky met TN Quynh Luu. After many years of returning to the tournament, TN Tan Ky made a surprise when they overcame strong teams such as TN Do Luong, defending champion TN Yen Thanh and TN Thanh Chuong to advance to the final match.

2019 was the 4th consecutive year that Quynh Luu Youth Team reached the season finals. To reach the 2019 finals, Quynh Luu Youth Team had to overcome Quy Hop Youth Team, Vinh City and Que Phong Youth Team. In this final, Quynh Luu Youth Team and Tan Ky Youth Team were considered to be evenly matched opponents.

In this match, in order to deal with the strong TN Tan Ky team, TN Quynh Luu arranged a rather “strange” formation with a large number of defensive players. The player who played the highest on the team’s attack line was also a big defender. Winning 4-1, TN Tan Ky was crowned champion, awarded the Cup, flag, medal, and 30 million VND in prize money. TN Quynh Luu was unable to change the color of the medal, repeating the runner-up achievement of the previous season, and was awarded the flag, medal, and 10 million VND in prize money.
