According to the guidelines, each individual using platforms and applications to prevent and combat the Covid-19 epidemic is given a personal QR code. The personal QR code can be used for authorized individuals and organizations to read and query relevant data serving the work of preventing and combating the Covid-19 epidemic.
Platforms and applications deployed to serve the prevention and control of Covid-19 must meet the technical requirements in the technical requirements document for the personal QR code display subsystem of platforms and applications to prevent and control Covid-19.
Platforms serving the provision and management of personal QR codes must also comply with Regulation 733 dated May 13, 2020 of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on managing medical data of health declarants from software serving the prevention and control of Covid-19.
In the coming time, when provinces and cities relax social distancing and bring a certain part of society back to normal, in order for this new normal to be maintained stably and safely, the implementation of technological measures, specifically QR code scanning solutions, will be core.
People when going out, to public places, crowded places also need to scan QR codes. Offices, businesses, shops, service providers... when opening must ensure monitoring of entry and exit using QR codes.
Therefore, the Ministry of Information and Communications' guidance on displaying and using a unified personal QR code across all platforms and applications will create maximum convenience for each citizen and agencies and organizations when performing Covid-19 prevention and control tasks.
In the coming time, platforms and applications serving the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic will need to be assessed by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Health to meet technical requirements before being deployed.
Platforms and applications serving Covid-19 prevention and control that meet the technical requirements are published on the website https://covid19.tech.gov.vn. The focal point for organizing the reception and evaluation is the National Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control Technology.
