Sophisticated tricks of black credit group with more than 500 people falling into trap
Quang Binh police have just mobilized more than 200 officers and soldiers to search 13 loan sharking locations in Quang Binh and Quang Tri, summoning 43 subjects.
Yesterday morning, 200 officers and soldiers of Quang Binh Provincial Police were divided into 12 working groups to simultaneously conduct emergency searches of 5 locations, administrative searches of 3 locations, and administrative inspections of 5 locations operating at high interest rates in Dong Hoi City, Le Thuy, Quang Trach, Bo Trach, Ba Don Town, and several places in Quang Tri Province.

Through searching the suspects' places of operation and residence, the investigation agency seized 160 synthetic drug pills, many documents and evidence related to loan sharking activities, 27 ATM cards, 21 motorbikes and 112 million VND.
At the same time, 43 subjects residing in many different localities such as Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Bac Ninh, Lang Son... were summoned for investigation. Among them, 14 subjects tested positive for drugs, had tattoos and had criminal records.

The subjects confessed that every day, they printed and distributed flyers advertising money lending in market areas and people's homes.
When someone calls to borrow money, depending on each person's actual circumstances, the lenders will lend different amounts of money.
The subjects operate very sophisticatedly and recklessly. In Quang Binh, 6 people were beaten and had dirty substances thrown into their houses by the loan sharks.
Dozens of other debtors received threatening text messages and 15 people had to flee due to pressure from loan sharks to collect debts.

Deputy Director of Quang Binh Provincial Police - Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Hoang Anh said that these subjects took advantage of loopholes in the law to lend money at high interest rates.
They use many sophisticated tricks such as loan documents showing the loan content, without stating the interest rate. Documents are hidden in secret places, not the residence, causing many difficulties in collecting evidence and documents.
According to investigators, about 500 people in Quang Binh are victims of this group of loan sharks.
The investigation agency is actively coordinating with the victims and collecting more documents to investigate and expand the black credit case.
