Seized 250 kg of pork of unknown origin

(Baonghean.vn) - At 8:45 a.m. on October 25, at km 647, Ho Chi Minh road in Nghia Dan town, the patrol team of Nghia Dan district police discovered a truck with license plate 89C-048.73 driven by Tran Huy Lieu (born in 1970, residing in Nghia My commune, Thai Hoa town) carrying 250 kg of pork.

Authorities check evidence.

At the time of inspection, the driver could not present documents proving the origin, quarantine certificate, and the vehicle did not ensure food safety.

The patrol team seized the above evidence and handed it over to the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station of Nghia Dan district for handling according to regulations.
