Covid-19 vaccine trial on humans
In response to the Covid-19 epidemic, Chinese authorities have just approved human trials of two experimental vaccines.
These two vaccines are jointly produced by a branch of Beijing-based pharmaceutical company Sinovac and the Wuhan Institute of Biological Products.
Earlier in March, China gave the green light to clinical trials of “vaccine candidates” produced to combat the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, shortly after US drugmaker Moderna said it was testing a Covid-19 vaccine on humans.

So far, more than 100,000 people have died from Covid-19 worldwide.
