Heroic Vietnamese Mother Dau Thi Du, born in 1925, has 6 children including 3 boys and 3 girls, currently living with her third son in Hamlet 6, Dien Thanh Commune, Dien Chau District. She is currently being cared for by the IV Military Region Command.

Mother Dau Thi Du had two sons, Cao Huy Khuong, born in 1945, enlisted in 1967, died in 1971, and Cao Quang Huong, born in 1952, enlisted in 1970, died in 1972, both on the southern battlefield. The family has yet to find the graves of the martyrs.
