The first quarter is the peak period for traffic order and safety (TTATGT) with Tet holidays, Spring Festivals, increased travel demand, increased traffic volume, and increased alcohol consumption. However, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh assessed that thanks to the drastic direction of the Prime Minister and the participation of ministries, branches and localities, the traffic safety and order situation nationwide continued to be ensured, with many practical and noteworthy changes.
In particular, all three criteria of number of cases, number of deaths and number of injuries due to traffic accidents continued to decrease by more than 10%.
