On the morning of September 28, in Vinh City, a meeting took place between the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders at the department level and equivalent in provincial agencies.

Attending the Conference were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of provincial departments and branches, nearly 800 heads, deputy heads of departments and equivalents from provincial departments and branches.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son asked delegates to uphold their sense of responsibility, promote their intelligence, closely follow the issues arising from practical work and activities at their agencies and units, focus on exchanging, discussing, sharing, and suggesting solutions and long-term strategic directions for the province in socio-economic development.

"From there, to unify will and action, jointly lead, direct and organize the successful implementation of key goals and tasks for socio-economic development, building a strong political system of the province in the coming time", the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized.

Reporting to the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee said that the Conference Organizing Committee received 386 comments, focusing on evaluating the results of implementing the political tasks of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee in the period of 2015-2020; goals, issues to be resolved and tasks and solutions for the period of 2020-2025 and the following years in the fields of socio-economic development, ensuring political security, social order and safety, Party building and political system building.

In addition, the team of leaders at the department level and equivalent in provincial agencies, through their opinions, expressed their sense of responsibility, receptive attitude, concerns and worries about issues that the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee are concerned about.

At the Conference, representatives of department-level leaders of provincial agencies gave speeches and made discussions and proposals to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. Regarding the contents of the socio-economic development situation and orientations for the coming period, comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee answered the discussions and questions of 6 department heads and deputy heads.

Regarding administrative reform, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that there is still much work to be done. The contents of administrative reform are related to all activities of the political system. Therefore, the decisive factor for the success of this work is the proactive and self-aware awareness of each cadre, civil servant, and public employee; in which, the team of department heads and deputy department heads must set an example for civil servants and public employees. Comrade Thai Thanh Quy hopes that each cadre, civil servant, and public employee, regardless of their position, must be united, exemplary, dynamic, creative, wholeheartedly serving the people; in particular, he hopes to receive many effective suggestions and initiatives to help the province in administrative reform from the leaders of department heads and deputy department heads.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong also discussed the work of handling complaints and denunciations (KNTC) in the province. Accordingly, although there are still prolonged cases, it must be affirmed that the work of handling complaints and denunciations for a long time, especially during this term in Nghe An, has made a lot of progress.

The rate of resolving complaints and denunciations always exceeds 96%, even the complaints under the authority of provincial agencies and departments reach 100% every year, and at district level about 97-98% every year. Regarding the policy of resolving complaints and denunciations, he pointed out that those who serve the people must uphold the principle of not letting the people be wronged or disadvantaged.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also exchanged opinions, after listening to opinions on the implementation of mechanisms, policies, conditions, working environment, wishing to contribute, be recognized, and develop in association with organizational work, cadres and Party building work.

In his closing speech at the conference, after reviewing the province's highlights, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation emphasized that the province's achievements were thanks to the efforts of the entire political system, that is, the contributions of everyone, including the significant role of comrades who are leaders, managers, heads and deputy heads of specialized departments at provincial-level departments, branches and agencies.

The Provincial Party Secretary also hopes that the staff of provincial agencies, including department-level leaders, once they have clearly determined their aspirations to become officials of Party, State, Fatherland Front and mass organizations, must serve the people well.

In the process of performing tasks, the staff needs to promote professionalism, which is reflected in three points: professional qualifications (knowledge, understanding of theory and practice; organizational and implementation capacity), public service ethics (diligence, thrift, integrity, uprightness; impartiality); work attitude (responsibility, honesty, seriousness, dedication, determination, creativity).
