The National Assembly Standing Committee will discuss public debt management.

This is one of the contents in the working program of the Session of the 14th National Assembly Standing Committee, from October 17-18.

Accordingly, the Minister of Planning and Investment and the Minister of Finance will, on behalf of the Government, present a report on the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget in 2016; the socio-economic development plan, state budget estimate and central budget allocation plan in 2017; the 5-year financial plan, the medium-term public investment plan for the 2016-2020 period; the objectives and orientations for mobilizing, using loans and managing public debt in the 2016-2020 period (including a comprehensive assessment of all aspects of mobilizing, using loans and managing public debt in the 2011-2015 period); the economic restructuring plan for the 2016-2020 period.

After listening to the Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee present the verification reports on the Government's reports, the National Assembly Standing Committee will discuss.

In addition, the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Laws related to investment and business; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting the issuance of electronic visas for foreigners entering Vietnam were also discussed at this meeting.

According to the working program, the National Assembly Standing Committee will discuss and vote to approve the resolution approving the proposal to appoint the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Lao People's Democratic Republic for the 2016-2019 term./.
