Thuy Tien - Cong Vinh join TV game show

Cong Vinh - Thuy Tien were guests on episode 2 of the show "Firewall" which aired on the evening of July 25 on VTV3. This is also a rare occasion when the famous couple appeared together on a TV game show.

"Firewall" is the Vietnamese version of the game show "The Wall" which was copyrighted from the US. In addition to answering multiple choice questions on general knowledge, players need to consider and decide on agreements with the organizers in advance to be able to receive a large amount of money or even go home empty-handed. The estimated highest prize value is 6 billion VND.

After the first two rounds, the couple won a prize of 65 million VND. But in the final round, Thuy Tien had to stay in a closed room to answer questions, while Cong Vinh was responsible for dropping the ball into different slots to increase the prize money that could be received.

Outside, Cong Vinh successfully dropped the ball and raised the prize money to over 500 million VND. Thuy Tien alone did not answer 3 questions smoothly from the organizers, causing her to hesitate and decide to sign the contract to receive the initial 65 million VND. When she discovered the amount of money her husband held, Thuy Tien covered her face and expressed regret.

Despite losing nearly 500 million VND, Cong Vinh was not sad but respected his wife's choice: "She considers everything about finances very carefully, so it's understandable that she wants safety." Then he hugged his wife to encourage her.

The couple decided to spend all the money they won to give scholarships to disadvantaged people at CV9 Football Academy.

MC Truong Giang took charge of hosting the program. He said that Cong Vinh - Thuy Tien did not win the highest prize but they understood each other very well. That is something to cherish in married life that money cannot buy.
