Continue to improve the quality of Nghe An Newspaper publications

In the first 6 months of the year, under the direction of the Editorial Board, specialized departments closely followed their assigned tasks and fields, and performed well the work of publishing and timely and high-quality propaganda of political, economic and social events of the province.

On the basis of building regulations and mechanisms for evaluating the quality of news articles, rewards and clear sanctions at all stages, the operating process of the editorial office has truly had a positive impact, creating a competitive movement and striving efforts in each cadre, reporter, technician and employee.

The quality of news and articles in newspapers is increasingly improved; the format of printed and electronic newspapers is improved in terms of presentation and innovation in columns related to the lives and information needs of readers, creating a good effect on readers.

Many works won prizes at the Central and provincial press awards. Among them, there was a Central Encouragement Prize for promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example; 3 Second Prizes, 4 Third Prizes and 2 Encouragement Prizes at the Nghe An Press Award 2017 and many Central and local ministerial and sectoral press awards.

Along with improving and enhancing the quality of publications, the Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper continues to prioritize the dissemination of laws through receiving petitions, reflections and recommendations from citizens at the editorial office and through the hotline, thereby organizing teams of reporters to write investigative reports ensuring objectivity, honesty and accuracy; especially continuing to maintain the department of citizen reception and legal advice for citizens at the editorial office with 35 citizen visits.

Nghe An Newspaper also successfully organized the 22nd Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth Football Tournament. Activities of Civil Servants and Youth Union organizations with many practical activities, created a vibrant cultural and spiritual living environment and improved the material life of the editorial staff.

Concluding the conference, Editor-in-Chief Pham Thi Hong Toan emphasized: Although the newspaper continues to have positive innovations and changes throughout the entire chain; however, with the information needs of readers, especially the propaganda requirements, serving the common tasks of the province, it requires the specialized departments and the team of cadres, reporters, technicians, and employees in the editorial office to make greater efforts and strive; in which it is necessary to proactively create good propaganda topics, both serving the information needs of readers; building quality works to participate in the Central and provincial press awards.
