Body of man found after crashing motorbike into river after stabbing wife, burning neighbor's house

The man's body was found right where the victim's motorbike was left on the shore.

Previously, as reported, at around 8:31 p.m. on June 8, at his private home in Hamlet 4, Trang Son Commune (Do Luong), Le Dinh Suu (born in 1978) used a knife to stab his wife, Nguyen Thi L. (born in 1991), many times in the back, stomach, and neck.

After stabbing his wife, at around 8:45 p.m., Le Dinh Suu ran to his neighbor's house, Le Dinh D., poured gasoline on the main door and set it on fire.

After setting fire to Mr. D.’s house, Le Dinh Suu rode his motorbike to the Dao River, more than 1 km from the house, and then drove both the motorbike and himself into the Dao River. At the scene, the motorbike was stuck on the river bank, and the person was missing.

When Mr. D.’s house caught fire, the neighbors discovered it and used a motorbike washing hose to put it out in time. Therefore, the only household items that were burned were an electric fan and part of the wall cabinet was scorched by the fire…

The initial cause was determined to be Le Dinh Suu's jealousy of his wife and Le Dinh D.

After the incident, Ms. Nguyen Thi L. (Suu's wife) was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities launched a search for Le Dinh Suu on the Dao River and at 11:00 a.m. on June 9, his body was found.
