Found the body of a man in Thanh Chuong who was swept away by floodwaters while buying rice.
(Baonghean.vn) - At 2:00 p.m. on October 19, the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Thanh Chuong district and Thanh Thuy commune found the body of Mr. Le Minh Son (43 years old, residing in Thuy Hoa village, Thanh Thuy commune).
A man was swept away by floodwaters while buying rice in Thanh Chuong.
(Baonghean.vn) - While crossing the spillway to buy rice, Mr. Son slipped and was swept away by the water on the morning of October 17.
After 3 days of mobilizing all forces in the area, the authorities found Mr. Son's body about 2km from the Ro River spillway in Thanh Khe commune.
As reported, at around 6am on October 17, Mr. Le Minh Son (43 years old, residing in Thuy Hoa village, Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district) was unfortunatelyswept away by floodwaterswhen walking across the Ro River spillway in Thuy Hoa village, Thanh Thuy commune.

Upon receiving information from local people and authorities, Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers to coordinate with local people to search along the Ro River.
On October 15-16, heavy rain occurred in Thanh Chuong district, water levels in rivers and streams rose, causing some roads to be flooded.deep floodParticularly in border communes such as Thanh Thuy, Ngoc Lam and Thanh Son, traffic is cut off in some places, making it difficult for people to travel, do business and buy and sell goods.
To ensure the safety of people as well as maintain the trade process, local authorities coordinated with the Border Guard to assign each other to be on duty at key locations to help people cross when necessary./.
