At the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, comrade Lai The Nguyen - Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee presented 500 million VND in support to help people of Nghe An province overcome the damage caused by storm No. 9 in recent days.

On behalf of the Party Committee, leaders and people of Thanh Hoa province, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Lai The Nguyen sent his deepest condolences to the Party Committee, leaders and people of Nghe An province; at the same time expressed his belief that with the spirit of determination, solidarity and high unity, Nghe An will soon overcome the consequences, and the people who suffered losses will soon stabilize their lives.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thong also informed the working delegation of Thanh Hoa province about the damages caused by heavy rain, floods, landslides to people's lives, production, traffic infrastructure... in the province; at the same time, he affirmed the timely encouragement and support of organizations, individuals, levels, sectors, and other provinces, especially today the working delegation led by Thanh Hoa province leaders directly came to encourage, share, and contribute to helping Nghe An soon overcome difficulties and overcome the damages caused by storm No. 9 in the area.

Previously, the delegation of Thanh Hoa province visited and presented gifts to officials and people of Hung Trung commune, Hung Nguyen district. This is one of the areas recently affected by flooding in Nghe An province. Here, the delegation presented more than 2 tons of rice, more than 200 boxes of instant noodles, 500 sets of clothes and 5 gifts, each worth 2 million VND, to 5 affected households.
