Group of teenagers fined 106 million VND for holding birthday party during epidemic

During a surprise inspection, authorities discovered 53 teenagers gathering for a birthday party without taking any disease prevention measures.

On July 12, the People's Committee of Phu Rieng district, Binh Phuoc province announced that it had issued a decision to impose administrative penalties on organizations and individuals related to the case of 53 teenagers.concentratebirthday party in defiance of COVID-19 prevention regulations.

Previously, during a surprise inspection of the Chuong BP seafood restaurant in Tan Hiep 1 village, Bu Nho commune, Phu Rieng district, the authorities discovered 53 teenagers gathering for a birthday party without taking any epidemic prevention measures.

Notably, among the 53 teenagers attending the party, there were many cases coming from many localities with complicated COVID-19 epidemic developments such as: Dong Xoai City, Phuoc Long Town, Bu Gia Map District, Hon Quan District... The restaurant owner also did not apply COVID-19 epidemic prevention measures.
The authorities havemake a recordadministrative violations and disinfection spraying at this seafood restaurant.

On July 12, the People's Committee of Phu Rieng district decided to fine the owner of the drinking place and the teenagers who attended the birthday party a total of 106 million VND.
According to the Center for Disease Control of Binh Phuoc province, the locality has recorded 33 cases of COVID-19 in 9/11 districts, towns and cities.
