In another development, Go Vap District Police (HCMC) has initiated a case and is investigating signs of spreading the disease from the Renaissance Missionary Church.

This move was made in the context that in the past 4 days, Ho Chi Minh City has recorded more than 60 consecutive cases of Covid-19 infection, out of a total of 98 cases, related to the chain of infections at the Renaissance Missionary Church. Initially, the investigation agency determined that this group did not comply with regulations on Covid-19 epidemic prevention, leading to the spread to many people.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City decided to social distance the entire city according to Directive 15, except for Go Vap district and Thanh Loc ward (District 12) according to Directive 16, from 0:00 on May 31.
