Talking to the people of Kim Lien commune and the cadres, civil servants and workers of the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, General Secretary To Lam expressed his joy at returning to President Ho Chi Minh's hometown, right on the occasion of the whole country celebrating the 135th anniversary of his birth and attending the Sen Village Festival, a cultural activity held annually to pay tribute to his great contributions to the country and his homeland.
Acknowledging the development of Kim Lien hometown, the General Secretary assessed: Sen village in particular, Kim Lien commune in general is increasingly developing. People's lives are improved, houses are spacious, and the environment and landscape have significantly improved. This is also the highest goal of the Party, something that Uncle Ho always hoped for and advised on how to help people have a better and better life.

The President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Kim Lien Commune (Kim Lien Relic Site), established in 1956, is the first museum about President Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam. After nearly 70 years of formation and development, the Relic Site has become a red address, a place where the sacred feelings of the people of the whole country and international friends for him converge.
The relic site consists of four main clusters: the paternal hometown relic cluster, the maternal hometown relic cluster, the Chung mountain relic cluster and the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - Uncle Ho's mother. With the special attention of the Party and State leaders, all levels and sectors, and under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Kim Lien Relic Site is constantly preserved, embellished and promoted in value.
This place preserves priceless heritages about President Ho Chi Minh's homeland, family and childhood, and witnessed his two visits back to his homeland.

The work of displaying, propagating, and introducing the life, career, ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh is carried out with all enthusiasm, responsibility, and respect. Every Vietnamese person, when returning to Uncle Ho's homeland, feels like returning to their roots - a sacred and familiar place, the origin of a great soul.
Up to now, the relic site has preserved 42 groups of artifacts with nearly 4,000 artifacts, along with thousands of valuable documents related to President Ho Chi Minh. Nearly 1,000 artifacts and documents have been added in recent years to enrich the archives for research and propaganda work.
The site is open to visitors every day of the year. During peak months, the organizers open the site through noon and extend the afternoon hours by an hour to accommodate the large number of visitors. Each year, the site welcomes between 1.8 and 2 million domestic and foreign visitors.
In particular, the training of foreign language guides is focused on. Currently, the relic site has 6 English guides, 8 Lao guides and 1 French guide.
