State Auditor General: "Running" for fake war invalids is a violation of the law and ethics

At the meeting, 10 voters expressed their thoughts and aspirations to the National Assembly delegates. Among them, the issue that Thanh Chuong district voters were particularly interested in and recommended to the National Assembly delegates was the regime and policies for people with revolutionary contributions.
Voter Nguyen Dinh Diem - Thanh Van commune expressed his indignation about the phenomenon of "running" for fake war invalids. Voters said that in Thanh Van commune, there is a phenomenon of some subjects making false declarations and forging documents to receive war invalid benefits. Mr. Diem requested that competent authorities review and handle those who receive war invalid benefits undeservingly.

Regarding this content, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thao, Hamlet 3, Thanh Van Commune said that the situation of "running" fake war invalids is still common because the commune has "brokers" for war invalids. He suggested that these cases need to be strictly handled.
"The pressing issue is that those who did not contribute have benefits, but those who participated in the resistance, who were real people and did real work, but because they lost their documents, do not receive benefits," Mr. Thao reflected.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thao expressed his concern about the lax management that has led to illegal encroachment, transfer, and change of land use purpose, and land allocation without proper authority according to the law, causing public outrage. He suggested that the government should rectify and overcome the above-mentioned shortcomings to strengthen land management," said Mr. Thao.

In addition, voters expressed concerns about traffic safety, and suggested that laws should be enacted that are close to real life, preventing corruption, land disputes, land auctions, preventing corruption from being hot above and cold below, illegal sand and gravel mining, mobilizing new rural construction, etc.
Regarding voters' opinions on fake war invalids and fake Agent Orange, State Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc said that recently the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs inspected Nghe An province and discovered 569 files.
The head of the State Audit Office requested voters to provide a list and be responsible for providing their list with names and beneficiaries of what regime. The provincial National Assembly Delegation will continue to recommend to the relevant agencies to review the list of beneficiaries of war invalids' regime.
At the same time, for those who have real jobs, participated in the resistance war, and contributed to the revolution, voters and local authorities are requested to petition competent authorities to soon enjoy the state's policies.
“The issue of running for fake war invalids and running for fake Agent Orange benefits is a violation of the law and ethics. The provincial National Assembly Delegation will send the voters' petition to Thanh Chuong district and Nghe An province. Regarding these cases, according to the State Auditor General, the viewpoint of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs as well as the People's Committee of Nghe An province is to resolutely and strictly handle violators,” said the head of the State Audit.

Regarding voters' concerns about corruption prevention and control, State Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc said that this is an issue that the Party and State continue to pay attention to and promote.
The State Auditor General proposed that the town establish a Steering Committee to thoroughly resolve land disputes, avoid conflicts among the people, and ensure legitimate rights for the people.
In addition, the voters' recommendations were received, explained and clarified by Thanh Chuong District People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Van Que; at the same time, he promised to direct district-level professional agencies to resolve them within their authority.
