(Baonghean.vn) - During the temporary suspension of operations to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, Cao Thang night street (Vinh City) continues to add and complete items; at the same time, Vinh City calls on organizations, groups, individuals, and street artists to register to perform when the night street reopens in the near future.
Cao Thang Night Street, Vinh City officially opened in early October 2019, attracting a large number of people to visit and shop. Since its opening, the night street has created a new entertainment and shopping spot for people and tourists, increasing the dynamism and modernity of Vinh city, contributing to enhancing the position of the commercial center, the bustling shopping area with a long history of the city.

However, in early 2020, due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, Cao Thang night street had to temporarily stop operating to implement the ban on large gatherings. During this temporary suspension, the night street is being renovated and completed to meet practical requirements.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Dac - Head of Vinh Market Management Board said: Since after the Lunar New Year, we have coordinated with construction units to repair and upgrade items with an open mind, listening to comments from people and tourists, paying special attention to changing the design of booths to suit weather conditions, renovating the electrical system to ensure safety and enhancing cultural and artistic programs.

According to the reporter, compared to the time of its opening, Cao Thang night street has now changed a lot. The stalls have been completely replaced with larger roofs to preserve goods when it rains, and at the same time, help the traders easily fold them up to transport them home after the end of service hours.
At the night street, an outdoor stage has also been added in front of Vinh market, a large LED screen has been installed along with a modern sound and lighting system. The decorative lighting system has also been added and renewed. The stalls have also been arranged more reasonably for the convenience of people visiting and shopping...
To increase the appeal of the night market activities, Vinh Market Management Board is currently inviting organizations, individuals, cultural and sports clubs, dance groups, street artists, folk artists of various ethnic groups,... in and outside the province to register to participate in activities at the night market in the coming time.
Types of art that can be registered include: Music, dance, circus, magic, painting, solo, musical instrument ensemble (zither, flute, two-stringed fiddle), stilt walking, building blocks, making clay figurines, painting statues, sand painting, roller skating, electric cars and other folk games...
