Awarded 150 million VND to support the construction of charity houses in Quy Hop district
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 17, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province coordinated with Quy Hop district to organize a ceremony to present gratitude houses to 3 families of martyrs in Nghia Xuan, Chau Ly and Chau Cuong communes.
Attending the event were comrades Lo Thi Kim Ngan - Head of the Ethnic Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Ho Duc Thanh - Chairman of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An Province; Cao Duc Trung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee - Chairman of the People's Council of Quy Hop District; and representatives of leaders of departments and branches of Quy Hop District.

Here, the Association awarded 50 million VND sponsored by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - Branch 2 Ba Trung (Hanoi) to Ms. Phan Thi Vanh (born in 1933), mother of martyr Hoang Van Hong, Thuan Thanh hamlet, Nghia Xuan commune;
Next, the delegation presented support money to build a house of gratitude to Ms. Vi Thi Doan (born in 1943), the wife of a martyr in Bon village, Chau Ly commune. The amount of 50 million VND was sponsored by the State Bank of Vietnam - Nghe An Branch and 10 branches of State Commercial Banks in the province.

On the same day, the amount of 50 million VND sponsored by the Compassionate Heart Fund (Hanoi) was also given to the family of Mr. Le Xuan Huyen (born in 1938), father of martyr Le Duc Thu, in Nguong village, Chau Cuong commune.
These are the 501 - 503 houses of gratitude that the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province called for and mobilized organizations and units to support. This meaningful activity demonstrates the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", caring for and improving the material and spiritual life of families of martyrs and people with revolutionary contributions, helping families of martyrs have solid houses, reducing difficulties, stabilizing their lives, contributing to the locality in eliminating hunger, reducing poverty, building a prosperous and happy life.
