Awarded over 800 million VND to poor households and students in difficult circumstances in Do Luong
(Baonghean.vn) - The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Do Luong district has just organized a program to present Great Unity houses and cows for livelihood to households; and to award scholarships and bicycles to disadvantaged students in Hien Son and Ngoc Son communes.
Attending were Ms. Phan Thi Kim Oanh - Deputy Head of the Office of the President and representative of the sponsor, the leader of Vinh Thuan Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and other benefactors.

In Ngoc Son commune, the delegation presented 5 solidarity houses, each worth 100 million VND, 8 cows worth 120 million VND; 85 bicycles worth more than 104 million VND to poor students, and 2 scholarships worth 4 million VND to 2 poor students who excelled in their studies.

In addition, Vinh Thuan Construction Investment Joint Stock Company also supported Ngoc Son commune with 100 million VND to build new rural areas. The beneficiaries this time are families in difficult circumstances, relatives of martyrs, and children in difficult circumstances. The total value of the gifts given this time is nearly 830 million VND.
In Hien Son commune, the delegation also presented a livelihood cow worth 15 million VND to the family of Mr. Le Van Hai, in Luong Thien hamlet. The gifts have contributed to sharing with relatives who have contributed to the revolution, families in difficult circumstances, poor students... thereby creating motivation for them to escape poverty and improve their lives.
