Giving Tet gifts to the poor in Dien Chau district

On January 21, Nghe An Newspaper and Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company organized a program to give Tet gifts to the poor in the year of the Snake in Dien Hoang commune (Dien Chau).

Attending the gift giving event were comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - President of the Trade Union, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and leaders of Dien Hoang commune.

Responding to the Appeal Letter of the Provincial Party Secretary to support and help the poor and disadvantaged people to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025; promoting the fine tradition of "mutual love and support" of the nation, Nghe An Newspaper coordinated with Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company to present 50 gifts (each gift worth 500,000 VND in cash) to 50 poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in Dien Hoang commune. This amount was sponsored by Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company.

Dien Hoang is a purely agricultural commune far from the district center with over 1,800 households. Currently, the whole commune still has 13 poor households and 47 near-poor households.

On behalf of the local government, comrade Pham Van Bay - Secretary of the Dien Hoang Commune Party Committee sincerely thanked the material and spiritual support of Nghe An Newspaper and Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company for providing timely support to help poor households and disadvantaged households prepare to welcome a joyful and warm Tet At Ty 2025.
