Presenting health insurance cards to disadvantaged students of Vinh University

Speaking at the program, comrade Le Thi Dung - Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Social Insurance stated: In Nghe An, in recent years, the workHealth insuranceThe health insurance for students has always been focused on and implemented effectively with the close coordination of the three sectors of Social Insurance, Education and Training and the Provincial Youth Union as well as the participation of the entire political system. The rate of students participating in health insurance has increased rapidly over the years and reached 96.76% in the 2021-2022 school year, many localities reaching 100%.

In particular, the real significance of increasing the health insurance rate for students is not in the outstanding growth rate, but in the actual benefits this policy brings in health care for students with the number of medical examinations and treatments increasing each year. In the 2021-2022 school year, the whole province had 181,511 students going to medical facilities for examination and treatment with the amount paid by the health insurance fund of nearly 74 billion VND.

On that basis,Social insuranceNghe An province in collaboration with Vinh University organized the program of giving health insurance cards to students in difficult circumstances "Sowing kindness - Spreading love" and propagating health insurance policy for students with the desire to help and support students in difficult circumstances to participate in health insurance.

The funding for the health insurance cards is drawn from contributions from officials, civil servants, employees, and workers of the Provincial Social Insurance and the support of businesses and philanthropists. Through this, we send love to students in difficult circumstances, helping them feel more secure and steadfast in life; strive to study and nurture their dreams.

Through this Program, the Social Insurance industry hopes that all teachers and studentsstudentand students are more deeply aware of the importance of health insurance cards for themselves, their families and the community. From there, continue to coordinate propaganda and mobilize students to participate, ensuring that 100% of students enjoy the benefits that health insurance brings.
