Awarding the Border Guard Station of Nam Can International Border Gate for the capture of 30 heroin cakes
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 10, the Nghe An Border Guard Command organized an award ceremony for officers and soldiers of the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station for their outstanding achievements in the fight against drug crimes.

(Baonghean.vn) - When discovering the police force, taking advantage of the darkness, heavy rain, slippery roads, and dangerous mountains and forests, the group of subjects carrying a large amount of drugs opened fire, threw away the drugs, and escaped across the border.
Colonel Tran Dang Khoa - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard attended and directly awarded the unit.
Previously, at 3:00 a.m. on October 29, implementing the plan to fight the special case ofProvincial Border Guard CommandNghe An, the Border Guard Station of Nam Can International Border Gate coordinated with the Department of Anti-Trafficking and Anti-Terrorism of Nghe An Provincial Border Guard, and the Customs Sub-Department of Nam Can International Border Gate to organize an ambush at the trail area on the border belt in Tien Tieu village, Nam Can commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province to arrest a group of subjects going from the other side of the border to Vietnam.

During the move, when the arresting force was discovered, the subjects ran and fired to escape. The investigation force chased and fired to suppress them, but due to the darkness, rain, and rugged mountainous terrain, the subjects fled towards the other side of the border and left behind a red backpack. The investigation force inspected the backpack and discovered 30 heroin bars inside.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Provincial Border Guard Command, Colonel Tran Dang Khoa presented flowers, congratulated the victory, and awarded 15 million VND to the Border Guard Station at Nam Can International Border Gate. He also commended, acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements and results that officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Station at Nam Can International Border Gate have achieved in the fight against crime; he hoped that officers and soldiers of the unit would continue to promote their achievements and successfully complete all assigned tasks./.
