Awarding the project to eradicate transnational drug trafficking ring

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 13, the Provincial Police and Vinh City People's Committee held an award ceremony for the 117D Project Team of Vinh City Police for their achievements in fighting and eliminating a transnational drug trafficking ring.

Previously, using professional measures, Vinh City Police discovered a transnational drug ring involving Lao and Vietnamese people.

On November 10, after a long period of monitoring and pursuing, the 117D Task Force decided to crack the case and arrest the subjects Mua Nhia Vu (born in 1981), residing in Bo Ly Kham Xay province, Laos; Le Thuy Trang (born in 1986), residing in Tam Vu 1 hamlet, Thanh Hoa commune, Phung Hiep district, Hau Giang and Nguyen Minh Truc (born in 1985), residing in group 3, quarter 1, Thoi An ward, district 12, Ho Chi Minh City, with the evidence of 4kg of MTTH, 1 TOYOTA -HILUX car with Lao license plate, 3 mobile phones and 630 million VND.

Currently, Vinh City Police are completing the case file for processing according to the provisions of law.
