(Baonghean.vn) - In recent days, due to the cold weather, in Do Luong district (Nghe An), the number of hospitalized patients has increased dramatically, mainly children and the elderly, many families have both grandparents and grandchildren hospitalized.
From December 10 to 13, at Do Luong General Hospital, the number of people coming for medical examination and treatment increased dramatically.
According to statistics, on average 300 people come to see a doctor every day and nearly 100 people have to be hospitalized due to the sudden cold weather.

Children are mainly hospitalized for bronchitis, pneumonia, rash fever, and prolonged diarrhea. Elderly people are mostly hospitalized for cardiovascular disease, blood pressure, stroke, brain disease, bronchitis, and stomach problems.
There are many families where both the grandfather and his grandson have to be hospitalized. Mr. Nguyen Phuong Sang in Xuan Son commune - Do Luong said: "I went to the emergency room at this hospital for 1 day and then my grandson was also hospitalized."
Not only has the number of people coming to the hospital for medical examination increased dramatically, but at the commune health stations, the number of patients has also increased significantly. At the Van Son - Do Luong commune health station alone, the number of patients has increased to over 30 people per day.
