Up to now, Krong Nang District Police have prosecuted and temporarily detained 15 subjects for the acts of "Gambling" and "Organizing gambling". At the same time, they continue to expand the investigation to handle related subjects.

This betting ring was headed by Van Chin (39 years old, residing in Tam Giang commune, Krong Nang district). Chin's effective assistant was Phan Anh Quan (31 years old, residing in the same district).

Before that, Chin contacted a man in Ho Chi Minh City (unknown identity and background) to buy 2 football betting accounts on the Internet. Then Chin returned to give Phan Anh Quan 1 account for Quan to manage.
Chin divided the remaining account into 26 sub-accounts and gave them to gamblers in the network to participate in football betting. According to Chin's statement, this network averaged more than 2 billion VND in transactions per day.
